NCDC Road Maintenance

This notice serves to inform the General Public, Motorists, Business Owners, and Residents of Port Moresby that, the National Capital District Commission will be undertaking some road maintenance works on all 4-lane arterial roads across the city ahead of the 50th Independence Anniversary Celebrations in September this year.

These works are critical to ensure roads are operational and safe for commuters.

Everyone is cautioned to adhere to all construction traffic management setups, road signage and workmen when driving through the working zones.

Works will be undertaken during day and night therefore temporary disruptions to traffic flow is anticipated.

- Hubert Murray Highway

- Gavamani & Scratchley Road

- Poreporena Freeway

- Melanesian, Kumul & Somare Circuit

- Sir John Guise, Independence & Flyover
