Traffic Enforcement Awareness

Attention Port Moresby residents:

To restore order, the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary , Road Transport Authority, including National Capital District Commission and other responsible authorities will begin strict enforcement of traffic laws in late April this year 2026.

Vehicle owners must ensure:

●Valid registration and roadworthiness.

●Current taxi/PMV permits and licenses.

●Compliance with designated routes and loads.

Fix all vehicle defects before May to avoid penalties.

Drive responsibly or face the consequences.
