National Women’s Day Celebrations

They say it takes a village to raise a child, but today at Sir Hubert Murray Stadium, we’re showing that it takes empowered women to raise a whole nation!
This Stadium is set to transform into a hub of empowerment as the National Capital District Commission hosts the National Women’s Day Celebrations.
Organized by the Family, Gender Equality & Women’s Empowerment Branch, this event has unite women and girls from across the NCD and Motu Koita villages under the powerful theme: "Strongim Meri. Protectim Rights. Buildim PNG."
Guest of Honor, NCD Governor Powes Parkop, will lead a day dedicated to celebrating female strength and progress.
