The National Government, NCDC, State Owned Entities, the corporate sector, community groups and individuals have made a strong
commitment to address violence and this commitment deserves our backing for the desired peace and harmony in our city.
Let us vouch for peace and harmony in our city this festive season with meaningful celebrations in reflection and awareness of peace, hope and togetherness.
Let the reconciliation process unfold this Christmas as we come to terms with one and other as was the intent of God through the birth of Lord Jesus Christ.
It is my fervent hope that Christmas will serve as reminder of the universal values that every tradition is linked to,such as peace, understanding, and reconciliation.
It is a time to build 'bridges of understanding' and promote unity, especially in times of division.
Christmas must be a celebration of the values of family, tradition and goodwill. A time to reflect on the past and look forward to the future,
with hope and resolution.
Let us make this Christmas, the perfect occasion to reconcile and unite for peace and harmony in this amazing city of ours. May our
efforts to end violence in our city be harmonised and driven by the values of humanity and humility in that respect and goodwill be
prominent in all of us.
Enjoy the festivity of Christmas responsibly in love and care with your loved ones with hope for a realisation and appreciation of the true
meaning of Christmas as a time of togetherness with families.
As we wind down the year, it is my heartfelt pleasure to extend sincere appreciation for all your support to the municipal obligation of NCDC as I look forward to the continuation of that support in the New Year to help us deliver that commitment to serve to the next level.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year of success and prosperity.
