PORT MORESBY: As part of the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Women's League championships in five teams visited primary schools in the city.

Their aim was to promote the championships and inspire young girls to play football and make positive life choices.

AS Academy Feminine and Samoa's Kiwi FC visited Boroko Primary School, engaging with students through dance performances and ticket presentations.

The players shared their experiences and positive vibes with the students.

Hana Malobaga from Samoa FC expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and felt at home in Port Moresby.

Building on from the success of the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, the 2018 APEC Leaders’ Summit, the Rugby League World Cup 2017, several Pacific Games, the recent-past Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation and US-Pacific meetings, #AmazingPortMoresby continues to host regional and international events and meetings taking steps closer to become the regional and global city.
