FLAG RAISING TO START OFFICIAL 48TH INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATIONS
PORT MORESBY, September 16, 2023 - The official 48th Independence Day celebrations began with the traditional flag-raising ceremony at Independence Hill, organized by National Events. This solemn occasion has been a cherished tradition since Papua New Guinea gained its independence 48 years ago.
