Sogeri Plateau is located 50 km from Port Moresby and at 800m, an escape from the Port Moresby heat. Sogeri arks the end of the Kokoda Trail, which was the route through the jungle taken by Japanese soldiers in 1942 in an attempt to capture Port Moresby during the World War II. Located at Sogeri is the beautiful Rouna Waterfall. Visitors can stand at a lookout point to admire this beautiful scenery.
