The Royal Papua Yacht Club (RPYC), located in Konedobu, Port Moresby, is one of Papua New Guinea's premier maritime and social institutions. Established in 1921 as the Port Moresby Aquatic Club, it received its royal charter in 1977 and celebrated its centenary in 2021 .

Membership Details (2024)

  • Individual: K1,260 per annum + K750 nomination fee

  • Family: K2,200 per annum + K1,300 nomination fee

  • Cadet: K145 per annum

  • Gymnasium: K300 per annum

  • Monthly Craft Market: Held on the last Saturday of each month from 4 PM to 7 PM, featuring local arts, crafts, and produce

  • Annual Events: Hosts significant events like the Three Peaks Race and the Coral Sea Classic
