Building & Architecture Division was established in 1997 to implement the decision of the Commission on all Building Projects. These include School Infrastructure such as classroom buildings, staff housing and school toilets. The Division also undertakes community and public service buildings such as Health clinics, public toilets, markets buildings, community halls and church buildings for Motu-Koita Villagers in NCD.The principle responsibilities of the divisions include Design, Documentation, Tendering, Recommendation and Implementation, Contract Administration, Supervision and Estimation |
It is also responsible for:
- Advising the Commission on application of the laws and regulations governing the architectural design and building construction and ensuring the political, economic, social and cultural consideration benefiting the society.
- Ensuring that Commission’s decisions on architectural and building construction matters are carried out.
