Welcome to the National Capital District Commission (NCDC) website.

 

This website is about the capital city of Papua New Guinea, Port Moresby and the authority that administers the city, the National Capital District Commission.  It provides information about NCDC’s roles and functions, programs and services, the laws that govern the Commission and a brief profile of City Hall’s management team.

 

As well as being the nation’s capital and seat of Government and commerce, Port Moresby is the gateway to the country for visitors from overseas.  Their first impression is translated into a general view about Papua New Guinea.  The Commission therefore has a responsibility to reflect a good image of the nation as well as promoting the welfare of city residents.
